About Lake Charles Mold Removal Co.

We spend most of our time looking at work other people did under conditions nobody would choose. Here is what we will and will not say about it.

Lake Charles Mold Removal Co. provides mold remediation across Calcasieu, Cameron, Jefferson Davis and Beauregard: storm repair inspection, wall cavity work, duct work and drying. The inspection is free and the written scope is yours regardless.

Three things we will not say

1. That the contractor who repaired your house did a bad job. We were not there in 2021 and we do not know what they were working with. What we can tell you is what is physically behind the wall now — dry framing, old staining, or wet material. That is a fact about your building. A verdict on a person is a different kind of claim and we do not make it from a cavity.

2. That you should have known. Nobody could see inside a closed wall, the work was being done during a contractor shortage in the middle of a sequence of disasters, and the realistic choice for many households was between a repair happening quickly and a house standing open through another season. Hindsight is not a diagnostic tool and we do not deploy it as one.

3. That a test result proves what caused something. Sampling shows what is present. It does not establish when it arrived, who was responsible, or what it will do to anybody’s health. Those are questions for a physician, an adjuster or a lawyer, and a remediation company answering them is exceeding what its work supports.

What we will commit to

  • A written scope that names the moisture source rather than saying “moisture intrusion”
  • Every opening quoted and located before anybody cuts — size, place, price
  • A drying target stated as a number, and a reading taken against it before we close anything
  • Telling you plainly when the finding is that your house is fine, which happens regularly
  • Our licence number on request, for you to verify on the state register rather than accept from us

Why this market needs a company that works this way

An unusual share of the work here means inspecting somebody else’s repair, and that puts a company in a position to profit from suspicion. Suggest the previous crew cut corners and the sale writes itself — and the homeowner has no way to check, because the evidence was behind a wall that is now open.

So the discipline is to report what is there and stop. If the framing is dry, we say the repair held. If material was closed in wet, we say that too, without a theory about why. Read what that produces on the cost guide, or how to check anyone else you are considering on the contractor page.

About us, answered plainly

How long have you worked southwest Louisiana?

[VERIFY: operator tenure not yet supplied] Marked rather than filled in with a plausible number. The limits listed above are the testable part of this business, and every one of them can be tested on a phone call before anybody drives to your house.

What is your licence?

[VERIFY: license number not yet supplied] Louisiana requires a Mold Remediation classification from the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors above $7,500. Ask for the number before we quote and verify it on the board's own register rather than taking it from us.

If you will not say the repair was bad, what are you telling me?

What is behind it, in physical terms - whether the framing is dry, whether material is growing, how far it extends. That is a statement about your building. Whether somebody performed badly is a statement about a person, and it is not ours to make from a wall cavity.

Will you testify or write a report for a lawsuit?

No. We are a remediation contractor, not a forensic expert, and a scope written to sell removal is the wrong document for a legal proceeding. Where you need that, engage an independent consultant with no financial interest in the repair.

Book a free Lake Charles mold inspection

If work was done on the house after 2020, tell us roughly what and roughly when — even “somebody replaced the ceiling, I do not know who” is useful. A great many houses here were repaired fast under conditions nobody chose, and what is behind that work is usually the question. Same working day reply.
